Wardtown Castle, which is an impressive ruin was once occupied by Baron Folliott, is just 2km from Elaine’s B&B. There are plenty of lovely restaurants and pubs locally for you to enjoy and Elayne will be delighted to offer advice on the best places to visit.

Elayne’s B&B is an ideal base for touring Donegal. Ballyshannon Town is just 2km away with a variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. The famous family seaside resort of Bundoran is a mere 9km away with great amenities and activities for all the family to enjoy, such as, Waterworld, an adventure park, a great sandy beach, a golf course, restaurants and evening entertainment. Picturesque Donegal Town is only  24km from Elaynes where you can visit Donegal Castle, take a rideon the Waterbus or enjoy a leisurely stroll around this beautiful, historic and friendly town.
